I found your site very insightful but did not see any reviews for Garden Windows. I am doing a kitchen remodel and need to replace my current 40 year old garden window and have received 2 quotes. One from my contractor leveraging their supply house using MI Windows model 2050 and one from Home Depot for the Simonton 6500 garden window. Home Depot right now is about $2K cheaper including a recent promotion. It is a custom sized window and the lead time is anywhere from 5 to 8 weeks with Home Depot and 6 weeks from MI. Do you have any experience with these windows? Thanks.
Editor's Advice:
N A, the Home Depot Simonton 6500 series is the better option over the MI 2050 series just on the face of it. The fact that it's so much less is the icing on the cake. Less lead time is the cherry. No brainer for me on this one - just make sure that whoever HD uses for their installation has a proven installation and company-wide track record with good reviews to boot!
