Window Replacement Cost
Entry Level Bow & Bay Window Costs
Entry level prices usually have 3 fixed frame windows - usually a prefabricated unit that is delivered to the home by the installers - three installers is typical for this project. The frames will be a vinyl on the interior and exterior and the frame color choices will be very limited (white and off white). Homeowners can expect a low end low-e glass and plastic hardware on the unit.

Mid Range Bow & Bay Window Costs
Mid range prices will typically still have only 3 windows and be prefab units. However at this price point the side windows may be movable for ventilation - most likely casements or double hungs. The frame material might be a high end vinyl, fiberglass, aluminum or even a wood clad. The glass package should be a mid range low-e option with fills and there should be some nice upgrades and options as to frame colors, finishes, grids, screens and hardware materials.

High End Bow & Bay Window Costs
High end bows and bays can get very expensive. They will almost always be custom made windows installed onsite and may have 4, 5 or 6 windows in the design. These will almost always be wood clad with a quality wood interior and a fiberglass or aluminum cladding on the exterior. Homeowners can expect tons of upgrades and options like triple pane glass, exterior frame colors and finishes and premium hardware options.

Installation Price
Bow and bay installation prices range from $800 to $2,500. Install pricing will depend on how well the replacements fit inside the existing opening. Damage to the sills and jambs can quickly elevate the price. A standard 3 window bow that fits the existing opening should take an install crew of three 4 to 6 hours to replace and will average $900.

High end project pricing will start at $5,00 and goes up to $7,000. Andersen and Marvin make very nice "bays" that are in this price point.

Afternoon Bill, wanted to get you opinion on the following glass packages for the Sunrise bay window (two double hung’s, and a picture). You may recall that the original quote our installer gave was for $6600 with the Omega 12, double pane with single reflective layer (I think it has a new name now).
Triple pane glass, single reflective layer - $6700.
Triple pane glass, two reflective layers - $6975

Wow, those are really reasonable prices for triple pane. I'd go with the triple pane glass, two reflective layers for $6975. This is assuming there are no tint issues for you - the more coatings, the more tint and for some people, this really bugs them. Others don't mind the tint at all. I'm in the camp of as soon as it goes in, I'll accept the slightly darker tint.
