Okna Windows Prices

Okna Windows is one of the industry leaders in terms of their various vinyl windows and patio doors. The Bristol, Pennsylvania company sells a number of window series, including the 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, and Starmark series (these go for least expensive to most expensive).

All of Okna's window series is available in either in the Delux or Energy Package - the Delux is an optional upgrade that will produce better performance numbers. I'm going to provide a quick explanation and analysis on each of these window series and give a suggested installed Okna windows cost for each. Below this, we have our homeowner price quotes that should offer some insight into what you can expect.

Okna Windows Cost

400 Series Window

Unlike most vinyl window companies, Okna's entry level window is a pretty solid performer, although it's not exactly cheap either. You should expect to pay anywhere from $400 to $450 per opening for the window and installation. If you opt for their Deluxe upgrade on the 400, you will get something around an AI at .05, U-value at .28 and SHGC at .30 - all very respectable numbers. The 400 is basically a stripped down, no frills version of the 500 model below.

Suggested Installed Cost: $650

Okna Window Costs: 500 Series

The Okna 500 will offer better numbers and some nice upgrades from their entry level 400 such as a better spacer system and sill wall. This translates to better perfromance numbers (AI at .02, U-value at .25, and SHGC at .28) than the 400 and one of the best value windows on the market.

Suggested Installed Cost: $800

600 Eco Pro Series

The Okna 600 series is the latest window offered by this great vinyl window manufacturer. Consumers can expect a better overall vinyl extrusion than the 500 series, including a standard sill reinforcement and interlocking mechanism. The 600 is on par with the Okna 700 (casements and awnings) and 800 series. Basically, the 600 is one of the bet performing windows on the market today.

Suggested Installed Cost: $900

Okna 800 Window

The Okna 800 is a top rated vinyl window. Not only is the window very nice looking, it is very well built and extremely durable. Expect even better performance numbers out of the 800, especially with the DX upgrade package - U-value at .24 and AI at .01. As well as being one of the best vinyl windows out there, it is also one of the most expensive.

Suggested Installed Cost: $1000

Starmark Window Costs

The Okna Starmark is a composite window that is one of the best models available on the market. The only real knock on it is a pretty bulky frame, but consumers get a ton of durability and strength out of this window. One of the best composite buys you can make.

Suggested Installed Cost: $1200

Window Quote Comparisons

Bill, I appreciate all the detailed information you provide on your site and have found it to be extremely informative. I recently completed a full renovation of my home (built in 2004). Unfortunately, I relocated for work before I could replace the windows. I have listed my house for sale and am collecting quotes to have the windows replaced. Thus far, I have received the following quotes for 7 double hung windows, 1 mulled double hung window, and 2 fixed/transom/picture windows:

Alside Mezzo: $9,715
Wincore 7700: $9,965
Vytex Fortis: $11,575
Simonton 5500 Window: $12,060
Okna 500: $24,749
Okna 600: $26,515

I am looking for a mid-grade/mid-priced window that will have a transferable warranty and provide good value. Also, I doubt that I will be able to increase my home's list price enough to account for the full cost of the windows, but if I could recover 50% of my investment then I would be satisfied. I would greatly appreciate any advice you could provide. Thanks again.

Hi Chris, so if you are looking for a mid-grade/mid-priced window, I think you have some great options. I think the Wincore 7700 is quite a good mid range window and probably the best value of the bunch. Second place for me would be the Vytex Fortis - a very good window - probably equivalent to the Okna 500 (maybe not quite, but close).

So those would be my picks and I suppose the two factors that would drive my decision between these is the overall rating and reviews of the installation companies doing the work. And then my overall projected timeline in the house. Hopefully, if you factor in these into the equation, you'll have a solid answer! Let me know if you have any more questions.

Okna 500 vs 800

I had to put my project on hold for a little while and am back ready to proceed forward. So, now I have narrowed into the Okna 500 series based on your recommendation. Except 2 windows I have to go with an 800 series as I am removing a transum over a double hung. Also, I'm replacing with a larger double hung of the combined size).

And I received the attached quote today from the only approved Okna dealer in my area. Current promo is free upgrade to triple pane windows till the end of the month. This quote is basically identical to what they gave me in Aug '23 for the double pane which was a slight price increase from Okna in Aug compared to Jan '23.

I can find cheaper alternatives with Window Nation and others but I do like the Okna windows after spending time reading more after we corresponded. What are your thoughts on the quote (everything is pricey in VA) - 12 windows and 1 ProVia door for a grand total of $32656 total.

Jesse - Homeowner - from 2024

[Site Editor's Answer]

Jesse, the quotes does include a lot of extra work. Therefore, this makes it much more palatable than how it appears in print. Okna window costs come out to $1000 each. This is pretty standard these days for a premium window like the Okna 500 series. I think it looks pretty darn fair for one of the best vinyl windows out there. Also, a top installer in the area. As long as you plan to be in the home for 15 plus years, then I think this is the better route over the Window Nation option.
